Created in 2006, Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) is one of the largest math contests in the world. More than 33,000 participants from 28 countries participated in SASMO 2022.

CKSTEM is very proud to announce that Canadian students across Canada performed extremely well in this Olympiad. To help young students, we also made contests free for many grade 1 & 2 students with SIMCC support. The winner of this contest will also have an opportunity to participate in the SIMOC competition. Details for SIMOC will be shared soon.

Canadian students won the following awards:

• 9 Gold Medals
• 9 Silver Medals
• 10 Bronze Medals
• 3 Honorable Mentions
