SASMO is a math Olympiad contest that stretches not only the brightest students but is aimed at instilling confidence in all students. The contest is designed to make every student love Math again. The SASMO contest fits nicely into the school curriculum with a high focus on non-routine problem sums – preparing for the SASMO contest helps students fulfill their dreams.
44,639 students participated in SASMO in 2023 from 39 countries. These students were from 5,883 schools worldwide. Canadian students performed exceptionally well in this global Olympiad. This year 73 Canadian students won the award. Ansh Agarwal also achived world ranking #1 for the Gold awards. This is the highest-ever tally for Canada.

- STEAM INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT (SIT) AWARDS: 3 points for the Perfect Score, 2 Points for the Gold Medal, and 1 point for the Siver Medal
- CKTEM OUTSTANDING STUDENT AWARD: 40 points for the Gold Medal/Perfect Score, 20 points for the Silver Medal, 10 points for the Bronze Medal, and 5 points for the Honorable Mention. This award is only for the CKSTEM students only.

Vanda Global Science Contest, and DrCT Computation Thinking Contest will be held from May and June 2023. Also, registration for the six Global Canadian Innovation STEM+ Contests is open now. Try participating in these contests. You may be able to collect invaluable memories and awards, which you will proudly show to the rest of the world.
