The CKSTEM Math Summer Contest- 2021, popularly known as CMSC-2021 is an initiative by Competitive Kids STEM to provide students across the globe with an opportunity to showcase their talent and develop their skills. The contest is designed in a manner that will challenge and promote problem-solving, critical thinking, reasoning, abstract or spatial thinking as well as communication for the students. Participants will be required to write 2 rounds of tests during summer 2021 - Preliminary & Final Round.
According to UNESCO, learning mathematics through problem-solving activities is the most efficient way for students to develop mathematical skills that will prepare them for the challenges of the future. At CKSTEM, our primary goal is to help the students learn techniques that may help them succeed in math competitions and beyond.
CMSC-2021 is designed for students with a wide range of abilities and will keep them engaged and focused during the summer months when school is out. They are also particularly valuable for high achieving students who need to be really stretched as we provide access to mathematical support beyond the school.
We have put together a large set of brain fertilizers and drills for students to practice and win, similar to sports encouraging physical fitness, our brain fertilizers and practice drills encourage mental and emotional fitness.

Cerasela Tesleanu is a math professor at Collège Stanislas Montreal, Canada specializing in various Math and Algorithmics courses. As a mathematics coach, she has successfully trained gifted students for national and international competitions. She is passionate about the STEAM teaching approach by using math in conjunction with programming and robotics.
As an Advisor Board Member, Cerasela contributions include designing CMSC contests, preparing training programs and resources. She will also provide specialized training to the finalists. Participants, who wish to be trained by one of the best teachers, should aim to get into the top 10% of CMSC.
We would like to help students all across the globe. Please help us spread the word. We are confident that the participants will have fun in solving some of the coolest math problems with our unique approach of allowing them to try each problem more than once.
We also need funds to run this program especially for licensing costs involved in using certain tools. The anticipated cost to facilitate this lies between $2000-5000 depending on the number of participants. We are relying on the generosity of our donors to help meet this cost as we will not be charging the students any contest fees. Therefore, we will greatly appreciate your support and donation.
