We want to remind you about three incredible global contests exclusive for the Canadian students by CKSTEM focused on holistic development:
We recently concluded American Math Olympiad (AMO) & International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO). Over 19,000 students participated in AMO worldwide from 30 countries. Canadian students did exceptionally well in this contest. Many Canadian students were in the top 10 globally, including the top spot for a few grades. Canadian students won 31 awards in our first outing. One of the students got a global scholarship as well.
CKSTEM is providing a platform for Canadian students to make a mark globally. We hope that you will be able to take advantage of these opportunities. In addition, we have created a detailed training plan to help students prepare for the science contest. According to this plan, we will release a lesson every week to cover a broad spectrum of topics in science. A couple of sessions are already available. You can review their details at:
As we believe in Learn --> Complete --> Win, CKSTEM is developing this training to prepare our Canadian students to compete well. This training will be available free for all VANDA participants. We have also worked with brilliant.org to provide advanced training in science.
In addition, all students in grade 7 and above will take advantage of fantastic science courses by Brilliant. It means, only CKSTEM dares to provide such a tremendous value without any fees to the students.
These global contests provide many additional benefits beyond medals and free training. Students will be able to qualify for scholarships, grants, and the International Junior Honor Society (IJHS). You can learn about additional benefits on our website.
Teachers play a significant role in grooming students. We would like to recognize them as well. Considering that, we are taking the following actions:
- Teacher Appreciation Award (qualifying students can nominate their teachers for this award)
- Teacher Appreciation Certificates (students can request these certificates, which they can present to their teachers as a token of appreciation)
- Brilliant for Educators (A program that will allow teachers to use excellent content from Brilliant in their classes. Teachers can send a request to CKSTEM to get free access for their entire class.)
Our goal is to create a sustainable ecosystem to develop high-performing students. Students need to participate in international competitions so not only can their performances be evaluated at a global level, but we can genuinely bridge the gap of international boundaries and enable them to be 21st-century global citizens.
We have early bird pricing of 25$ per contest till December 31st, 2021. CKSTEM is a nonprofit organization, and these fees only cover the cost of conducting these contests.
