Design thinking with robotics and Computational Thinking International Competition (DrCT)
DrCT is a competition developed by International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) medallists and moderated by Professors involved in IOI. DrCT is a significant competition for those students taking the International Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) competition. Around 25% of the questions are related to NOI, set by IOI medallists, and reviewed by the NUS School of Computing professor. SIMCC conducts this contest.
1,905 students participated in DrCT in 2023 from 21 countries. These students were from 477 schools worldwide. Canadian students performed exceptionally well in this global contest. This year 39 Canadian students won the award. 8 of the Canadian students were among the top 10 worldwide for their school grades.
