Math Problem Solving Courses' primary focus is learning and applying problem-solving skills in solving engaging math problems. These skills, if appropriately learned, are not limited to just math. Problem-solving skills are essential for students to get ready for the future. These courses also prepare students for global math competitions, including World Math Olympiads. We provide several opportunities to students throughout the year to "Learn, Compete, and Win."
We also teach students to learn from their failures by helping them develop good habits. We focus on coaching students to help them build mental toughness. Our highly experienced coaches provide the students with a good blend of mathematical and personal leadership lessons.
Public Speaking and Debate are intrinsic to our life and society. Hence, students from an early age must be given the opportunities and coaching to develop these skills. This program offers a structured learning environment where students develop their oracy, leadership, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. Through this program, students will learn to master the art of presenting and communicating convincingly and persuasively.
There is a 3-point focus in both the foundation and advanced level of public speaking and debate courses- Public Speaking, Debate and Leadership. The English course focuses on Reading & Comprehension, Vocabulary & Writing, and Presentation & Speeches.
As children's first teachers, family members are crucial to student success. And the more adults become engaged in their children's education, the greater the chances that children will succeed. Hence, our goal is to engage families in the learning process through these fun challenges.
Today's citizens need more than basic computation and rote mathematical skills. They must master the higher-level concepts and approaches to problem-solving that are key to success in work and everyday life. Download weekly challenges and enjoy with your family.
Motivation is a crucial ingredient for sustained competitiveness. Our fictional CK ROBO has become an integral part of the CKSTEM family. Humans are creative, and communities across the globe are inventive. Yet some nations have populations that seem particularly good at approaching problems in ways that make creative thinking easier. Canada is one of those nations. We don't like to brag, but Canadian innovations are used across the country and worldwide every day. Turn on a light bulb? Yup, that's a Canadian innovation. Zip up your jacket? Thank Canada.
CKSTEM's 2023 Contest theme is focused on Canadian innovation and innovators. This is a perfect opportunity to be innovative through our six incredible contests.
CIC 2023 is ended now. We will post CIC 2024 theme details soon.
Schools and Teachers have many reasons to be part of Canada's one of most significant non-profit initiatives, where achievement and well-being are fostered through futuristic and authentic STEM+ opportunities for every student. Here are some of the key benefits:
All Canadian Innovation STEM+ Contests are 100% FREE for all students.
Every school will have winners. At least 10% of participating school students will be awarded Gold, Silver, Bronze or Honors and receive medals.
All students will receive beautiful certificates.
Schools/Teachers will receive Outstanding School/Teacher Awards based on their involvement, such as the number of participating students, hours spent by the students in FREE contest preparation courses on the CKSTEM learning portal, and promotion of Innovation STEM+ contests to others etc.
This is a very ambitious project. However, dozens of schools have already enrolled. Thousands of students spend hours on the FREE CKSTEM learning portal to solve over a million problems.
In a nutshell, this allows schools and teachers to provide excellent enrichment opportunities to all their students.
With 86 awards for students across Canada in American Math Olympiad (AMO) 2022, CKSTEM proves its leadership again in conducting global contests. Over 25,000 students participated in AMO 2022 worldwide.
