Math is Cool is a very popular math competition in the USA. It began in the spring of 1996. It includes both individual and team events. Individual events include the completion of open-ended and multiple-choice problem sets. Team events include open-ended problem sets, relays, pressure rounds, mental math and college bowl rounds.
Math is Cool High School Online Masters (Feb 6, 2022)
Amazing Mark R from grade 5 led the CKSTEM team once again for the Master's HS Contest. Our team was ranked #2 high school beating all schools except one. More importantly, our students got top 7 spots out of the first 8 in the individual category.

Math is Cool High School Online Champs (November 9, 2021)
Mark R took a lead and worked with other motivated CKSTEM students to form a team to participate in this contest for High School. The team then organized itself and practiced weekly. Finally, they did something amazing. They won every possible medal that was available to them.
Math is Cool divides teams into 3 categories to provide more opportunities to the school. Category "i" is the elite group consisting of ~20% of topmost high schools based on the previous year's performance. CKSTEM team got the highest score in grade 9/10 contest ahead of high schools like Thomas Jefferson H.S. CKSTEM Team consisted of:
