Format
Duration: 90 minutes | Format: Online Proctored | Number of Questions: 25 | Score per question: 4 | Total score: 100 | Time allowed: 1.5 hours (90 minutes)
Exam Areas:
• Logical thinking — 5 questions
• Arithmetic / Algebra — 5 questions

Awards
This contest offers all medal winners the opportunity to participate in the Global Final online. Since travel costs are incredibly high, many eligible students can now participate in the final. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to travel to Singapore for a few hours of events. Also, WIMO is offered for free if someone wins Gold in any two finals.
• Gold Award: 80th percentile and above
• Silver Award: 60th percentile and above
• Bronze Award: 40th percentile and above
• Merit Award: 20th percentile and above
• Total Award: The highest three scorers in each grade by global ranking (Champion Trophy | 1st Runner-up Trophy | 2nd Runner-up Trophy)
Certificates and medals are awarded to students with gold, silver, and bronze awards. The remaining students will receive participation certificates. The exact awarding percentage will be slightly adjusted if some students get the same marks. If multiple students achieve the same score, HKIMO will consider the winner's date of birth — the younger winner will be ranked higher.
Contest Fees
The individual contest for CKSTEM students in the HKIMO Online Heat Round is free. CKSTEM is happy to cover the cost of students who believe in and invest in our philosophy of Learn, Compete, and Win! Please ask your instructor for the discount code.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
The contest fees students pay to Competitive Kids STEM for hosting competitions are non-refundable. Our organization pays a cost to the various external organizations that own these competitions to be allowed to host them. Contests require significant time and resource investment, not to mention the various charges paid for processing these payments to external organizations, multiple third parties, and financial institutions.
As a nonprofit organization, CKSTEM operates very leanly and has limited resources to keep our operating costs low to make our offerings available at a much lower cost to the students. Hence, we cannot offer any refund for contest fees to students for withdrawals or cancellations beyond our control.
If CKSTEM has wrongly charged any student, or we cancel an event due to reasons under our control and we receive refunds from external organizations, we will happily refund the fees paid by the students. Please note that processing charges could be deducted from the refund amount.
