We are very proud to announce that the students at the Competitive Kids STEM (CKSTEM) did extremely well in the American Math Contest 8 (AMC 8). The CKSTEM team is ranked #3 in Canada out of 1628 schools worldwide. We began our journey and we are committed to raising the standard of STEM education in Canada.
Here are the key metrics:
- Globally, 66437 students from 1628 schools participated in AMC 8 - 2020. We are among the top 1% of schools globally.
- 2 CKSTEM students got a perfect score. Only 5 students in Canada and 131 students globally got a perfect score. This shows the depth of talent of CKSTEM students.
- 95% of CKSTM students scored above the worldwide average.
- 50% students of CKSTEM students were in the top quartile
- Most of the participating students were in grade 7 or under.
