Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad — Global Final 2026
The HKIMO Global Final is the second stage of the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad, open only to students who earned a medal in the Heat Round. Finalists from more than 15 countries and regions sit the same paper. Canada sent 21 students to the 2026 Final on 21 August.
Every one of the 21 Canadian finalists came home with an award — and one of them came home with a perfect paper.
A perfect score
🏆 ISAAC FONG (Secondary 3) answered every question correctly for a perfect score of 150 — HKIMO’s Perfect Scorer award.
Isaac took Gold at the 2025 Global Final. This year he did not drop a mark.
